MAY 1
I can tell by my scedule that the season has begun. we have already hit up a few events and it looks like thats what we will be doing every weekend till november. ah, sunburns, fast food, and contests that are no where near my house. I love summer!
I also started to shoot with Ty Udell for our upcoming issue. But our day was cut short due to camera malfunctions and also because a pontoon boat ran over his rope. His lake can be a little busy. And we cant decide if we should shoot all of his photos while he wears a Captains hat. I might have to start calling him the Captain.
APRIL 18
Well it's been a while since we updated. And with it being mid april the season has officially started! We are knee deep in events that we plan on covering. But thats good. It gives us a chance to see everyone that we dont normally hang out with except at events. Just this weekend alone we are hitting up the sarasota boat show, malibu's JUST RIDE, and some event called TOE JAM that i heard has some decent wakeskating. And if your throwng an event, or riding in one, make sure we know about it so we can come hang out with you too.
On a side note, i went to Inverness last week and got to ride with the crew from BIG SPINS WAKE AND SKATE. They are a new shop trying to push the wake scene in their area. And if you go by there they might take you out on the boat. Or they might school you in a tramp contest. Look them up on myspace.

We are finishing up our all wakeskate issue and it is shaping up to be our best looking issue to date! It's got all of us very excited. But we still find time to ride a little here and there, and this past week i had some of he guys try out some gear from SHAWKBOARDING. If your not familiar with them yet, they make different velcro applications for wakeskates and wakeboards. Then you just put on their specially made shoes and your stuck to your board like super glue. Well we had Jason, Tim Keepers, Jay and some of his friends give it a test run. They loved it. Escpecially Tim, who is pro for Gator, had a blast! We will have a story on this in an upcoming issue.
In the meantime, go to our CONTACT page ansign up for our mailing list so we can keep you up to date on what we are doing and where we will be!

We are close to being done with our next issue which will be an all wakeskate issue. We will have articles on the Toe Jam, the BLAST Wakeskate Comp, as well as interviews with Andrew Pastura and Steve Cambell. In this issue we will also teach you how to build a winch, and how to learn shuv its and kick flips. So whether you wakeskate full time or just once in a while you will want to check this one out.
In other news, FL WAKE MAGAZINE is going to be the official magazine of Board Up Miami in April. It's an awesome event that puts the average joe up against the industries top pros. They also have music and plenty of other things for non competitors to do. Make sure to check this one out. It's gonna be great!
